Originally trained as a designer in Paris, Ana Bianchi studied fine art at Chelsea Art College and the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. Although better known for her sculpture and installation work, painting has been a constant focus and something to which she has returned with regularity. She has exhibited in Poland, joining a site-specific project of thirty artists in Skoki headed by Jaroslav Koslowski; and in Geneva, where she was one of six British artists chosen by the Greene Gallery to exhibit in "Unusual Tension" in 1999.
A Gloucestershire resident, she has been a regular contributor to the biannual Quennington open-air sculpture show, and to the Stroud House Gallery. In London, she has exhibited in various venues including the Hyde Park Gallery, Lauderdale House and more recently she took part in "Living Room", an exhibition of nine installation artists curated by Damian Llambias.
